Hawaii Photos-Kauai Beaches  

The last bit of beach at the east end of Mahalepu offers a secluded cove without crowds.

Baby beach is a little gem tucked away in the heart of Poipu but off the beaten path.

From in front of the Beach House east to Baby Beach is relatively rocky but for one small beach.

The surf was up at Cows Head the day this photo was taken. There's plenty of surfing on Kauai for all levels of skill.

Near Waimea on the south west side of Kauai is Pakala beach which runs over 3 miles all the way west to Waimea.

Pakala point is secluded and private and boasts one of the finest surfing beaches in Hawaii.

The longest stretch of unbroken beach stretches from Waimea to Polihale at the west end of the road.

From the Sheraton looking east you can see all the way to Makahuena Point( Southern most point on Kauai )

Near Hanapepe is Salt Pond beach where you can snorkel, swim and windsurf.

From the cliffs at t he east end of Shipwrecks beach are cliffs that are a favorite spot for the locals to fish from.

Romantic and isolated, Mahalepu beach is ideal for those wanting to get away from the south shore crowds.

Ouiuonokahi Point is at the end of Mahalepu beach after which is Kipu which is inaccessible to the public.

Here it is. The perfect romantic spot to bring your lover for a romantic picnic and some serious snorkeling all alone!
