This is the southernmost point on Kauai called Makahuena Point just west of the Hyatt and east of the Sheraton Hotels.

From the cliffs at Mahelepu you can see east towards Kipu Ranch on the south east shore of Kauai..

Whalers cove offers fine snorkeling between the Beach House and the Sheraton Hotel.

At the east end of Shipwercks beach is this point which is the start of the Mahakepu cliffs.
